After more than 7 years as an advocate in tribunals and civil litigation, Leah Davies brings a wealth of courtroom experience and a naturally confident, grounded advocacy style to her developing family law practice.
Having practised across all stages of the civil litigation process, from interlocutory applications to final hearings and appeals, Leah has honed skills that translate seamlessly to the family courts, including robust cross-examination, forensic attention to detail, effective negotiation and persuasive drafting. She is particularly adept at reading between the lines and managing complex or emotionally sensitive matters with clarity and confidence.
Known for her straightforward, friendly and approachable manner, both in court and with clients, Leah quickly builds trust and gets to the heart of the matter with clarity and compassion, consistently securing the best possible outcomes for those she represents.
Now building her practice in all areas of family law, Leah welcomes all instructions with a particular interest in cases involving safeguarding issues or intricate factual disputes. Her time spent working in-house has given her a deep understanding of the commercial pressures faced by solicitors and the need for efficient, solution-focused advocacy.
